What the app knows about you

Northern Light Stories is made by Makeable ApS, Denmark. This policy explains what data the app handles, and it is short because the app handles very little.
What stays on your phone
Your child's name and age, if you enter them, your sleep-sound choice, and where you are in each story. This is stored only on your device and never sent to us. Deleting the app deletes it.
What leaves your phone
Purchases. Subscriptions are processed by Apple. To know whether your subscription is active, the app uses RevenueCat, a subscription service. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier generated on your device and Apple's purchase receipt. It does not receive your name, email or your child's data. How the app is used. To learn which parts of the app help and which do not, the app sends anonymous usage events to PostHog, an analytics service hosted in the EU: for example that a story was started or finished, which feeling was picked, which sleep sound was chosen, and whether the subscription screen was shown or closed. These events carry the same random identifier as above, your phone's language and model, and nothing that identifies you or your child. No name, no email, no advertising identifier, no location. Nothing else. No advertising identifiers, no tracking across apps or websites, no account, no email address unless you write to us.
Children
The app is used by parents with their children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. The child's name, if entered, never leaves the device.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, the app schedules a local reminder before a free trial ends. It is created and shown by your phone, not sent from a server.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask what data we hold about you, and ask for it to be deleted. The usage events are anonymous and cannot be linked to you, so beyond your emails to us there is nothing to look up. Write to hello@northernlightstories.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above changes, and material changes are announced in the app.

Northern Light Stories es de Makeable ApS, Dinamarca. El nombre y la edad de tu hijo, el sentimiento elegido y los cuentos escuchados se guardan solo en tu teléfono y nunca se nos envían. Las suscripciones las procesa Apple; para saber si tu suscripción está activa, la app usa RevenueCat, que recibe un identificador anónimo y el recibo de compra de Apple, nunca tu nombre ni datos de tu hijo. Para saber qué partes de la app ayudan, la app envía eventos de uso anónimos a PostHog, un servicio de analítica alojado en la UE (por ejemplo, que un cuento se empezó o terminó, qué sentimiento se eligió o si se mostró la pantalla de suscripción), con el mismo identificador aleatorio y sin nada que te identifique a ti ni a tu hijo. No hay publicidad, ni seguimiento entre apps, ni cuenta. Si permites notificaciones, la app programa un recordatorio local antes de que termine la prueba gratis.
